Located in East Austin, this vibrant and eclectic neighborhood is known for its unique artistic flair and cultural diversity. A hub for creativity, the area boasts an array of art galleries, music venues, and trendy eateries that showcase Austin's unique character. The nearby outdoor spaces, like parks and biking trails, contribute to the lively urban environment. This part of Austin is also close to downtown, making it convenient for both work and play. From food truck parks to specialized boutiques, the area provides a variety of attractions that cater to diverse tastes and interests, reflecting the dynamic spirit of the city.

Regarding the ongoing I-35 expansion project: Our home’s fantastic, central location is right off I-35, which is currently undergoing a significant renovation of the highway. While the convenience is unbeatable for getting around Austin, this construction may occasionally result in some construction noise and shifts in street parking or traffic flow. During the construction project, the city may temporarily block portions of the street in front of our property. This will not impact your ability to access the property or park in the driveway, but if parking on the street you may have to park a bit further down the road. These closures and construction work may vary day to day depending on the type of work that's needed.

Scooters (Lime & Bird) as well as Lyft and Uber are the best ways to get around Austin, especially this close to everything. However, there are also a lot of public transportation options in this area (see CapMetro's website).

We have security cameras outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests' privacy.

5. The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it
