Mi Casita, Su Casita | Walk to Coffee & Cantinas

A private hideaway behind the main home on a quiet East Austin street. This detached two-story guest casita (2/1.5) sleeps four - two plush queen beds in luxury linen, an open main floor with stained concrete, smart TV, high-speed WiFi, and a gas kitchen for cooking. Covered parking out front and out back, a backyard the kids will claim before you've unpacked. Best of all, walk to Austin Daily Press, coffee, and cantinas, with downtown, UT, and the Moody Center close by. This is East Austin, done right.

Easy and open on the main floor, restful upstairs, and close enough to be in the thick of it all while staying calm enough to actually unwind.

✦ Why Guests Love It
• Standalone casita, private entrance, no shared walls
• Open living, dining & gas kitchen
• Backyard with a kids' climbing wall + tire course
• Dedicated carport, fast WiFi + luxury linens and terry
• Walkable to breakfast, lunch, dinner & drinks

✦ Downstairs Does the Hosting: One open space when you walk in, living, dining, and kitchen with nothing walled off, so the cook stays in on the conversation. Sink into the loveseat and cue up the smart TV, or gather at the dining table by the sliding glass doors and let dinner spill out to the patio. The gas range turns out real meals, the dishwasher handles the aftermath, and caffeine's covered two ways, drip or single-serve. A half bath down here (towels and toiletries stocked) keeps the line moving, and the WiFi holds up if work calls.

✦ Upstairs Does the Resting: Head up and it's all about slowing down. Two queen bedrooms sit under vaulted ceilings in luxury hotel-quality linens, one calm and low-lit, the other brighter and more playful, and either is easy to hand to friends, a couple, or the kids. The full bath up here is airy and mellow, with a tub worth sinking into after miles on your feet downtown, plus plush, luxury hotel-quality towels and toiletries set out and ready.

✦ Porch + Play Zone Out Back: Off the dining area, glass doors open to a porch with seating, the spot for a slow cup or a breather between plans. Behind the casita, a backyard kept just for this unit's guests sits shaded by a couple of mature trees, hushed enough that the city feels far away. It's a hit with the kids, too - a climbing wall and a painted-tire course to burn off energy.

✦ Free Parking: Pull right up to your own door with a dedicated carport, plus easy street parking as backup. No circling the block after a night out on East 6th.
